Hi, I’m David (aka DMo)
My purpose is to be a light of love, learning, leadership and laughter in the world.
Over a 20+ year career as a successful enterprise software sales, marketing, and customer success executive, I and my teams have generated more than a billion dollars in software and services revenue.
All of my companies have had positive outcomes – three acquisitions and one IPO.
And I’m still at it.
I’ve done and led most of the customer-facing functions you can do in a software company – product management, product marketing, sales, marketing, business development, customer success, professional services, and tech support.
I’ve been an individual contributor, manager, Director, Vice President, Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Customer Officer, and Chief Commercial Officer.
I’ve been a US Marine infantry Captain, the defining experience of my life, where I learned the very essence of leadership.
I graduated from Harvard with an MBA. That experience helped me develop a real love for business, solid decision-making tools, and a network of friends and colleagues.
I’ve been fortunate to work with the best team members, mentors, and customers in the world.
I’ve been helped by them and learned a lot along the way.
This website and this business is my way of saying thank you to them.
And it’s my way of paying it forward to you, the current and future generations of enterprise sales and marketing leaders
I’m here to help you help your customers, grow your companies, and achieve your personal and professional dreams.
In my spare time, I’m a comedian who has trained at Second City, ImprovAsylum, ImprovBoston, Upright Citizens Brigade, and Freestyle Love Supreme (the improv rap comedy group founded by Lin Manuel Miranda, the creator of Hamilton). I’ve performed for audiences around the world and made them laugh. I’m also a rapper and go by the name DMo.
I also like to travel around this beautiful world, meet amazing people, hike the most beautiful hikes, and ski the most beautiful mountains.
And I’m a husband and partner to my best friend, the best job of all.
